- When you speak of "halts" I assume that you mean you get a burst of data
- then the modem stops, another burst of data, then stop, etc.. I've been
- seeing something similar on my USR28.8VI. One thing I did was to change
- the port rate from 115k to 57.6. After doing this I noticed that the
- modem didn't halt anymore. My line rate still fluctuates a little but the
- transfers are a lot more consistent. You might want to give this a try
- and see if it makes a difference. If you are running Windows 95 you might
- also play around with the FIFO buffer and see if that helps also. Hope
